Having graduated in law from Siena University, Gianluca De Carlo has been a barrister in the court of Siena since 2007, acquiring nearly 15 years’ experience in the field of insurance and credit recovery. With proven experience in legal consultancy for various Italian and foreign companies, he handles litigation and corporate finance, and over time has formed groups of lawyers specialized in credit recovery, working with the largest Italian insurance groups. Since 2008 he has further developed his professional vocation in the world of NPLs, through the management and recovery of impaired loan portfolios, of a particular size and complexity, originating from banks and para banks. Since 2020, as Managing Partner, he has brought his experience to the firm, leading the entire team of lawyers who manage major NPL portfolios in Italy.
